the Word is beautiful . week 4

The Word is beautiful.
Its prose with deep meaning inspires and paints our world.

The Word feeds.
It's nourishment to your soul.

The Word is powerful.
It has the power to speak life, cast out darkness, give strength and revive the weary.

The Word is a gift.
It is our way to connect and understand the history of our relationship with God.

The Word is priceless.
It is a free asset, yet so taken for granted.

The Word is.

Knowing my #365daysofcreativity journey and study of art, my friend Paula sent me a devotion she's been reading. IF Equip put out a study on appreciating art and God's creation and his love of beauty: Reflections of God: The Theology of Beauty! What a joy it has been to study the foundation of God's love and His creative hand. If you're the least bit artsy, or just appreciate the trinkets of beauty around you, I'd encourage you to dive in this study and breathe in the beauty!

Here are just a few creations, sketches and inspirations from Week 4 of my #365daysofcreativity journey:

JOHN 4
13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”

1 CORINTHIANS 3
I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own [b]reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s [c]field, God’s building.
