Lines merging. #adobesketch |
It was Easter this past weekend, and I felt I needed a resurrection! I was tired, my mind was busy. But when I sat under the bread and the juice, hearing about the sacrifice of Jesus and what Easter means, I was given a sabbath rest in my soul! That body and blood is a cure for worry. And here in South Africa, Good Friday and Easter Monday are public holidays. I took advantage of this rest, did things I don't normally get to do (go to the movies, walk on the beach, cook new recipes, have friends over).
While my life got a reset, I feel my art and focus on #365daysofcreativity needs the same reset. I'm working on a lot of little sketches and works. Some I'm about to show you are works in progress that I'm not ready to show the world, but I'm posting them because I need the accountability to DO ART and not worry if it's the final piece.
Here's evidence of my week 13 in 365 DAYS OF CREATIVITY!
